First off, it is well known that men and women around the world have separate and distinct medical problems. With women it is breast cancer. It may not be as common as in women but breast cancer is found in men as well. With males it is an equally undesirable cancer, that of the prostrate. Prostate cancer is affecting an increasing number of men and has become an extremely talked about subject amongst them.

I don’t doubt that a great deal of prostrate cancer research will have to be carried out before an effective cure can be found, perhaps for now prevention is all we can hope for. Like most men, the thought of contacting cancer fills me with dread. I don’t doubt that like me, most men haven’t got it on their minds all day long. In fact, I don’t normally think about during the course of the day unless I hear it mentioned by someone or see it featured somewhere. In fact watching the television is probably the worst reminder because of the number of adverts relating to breast and prostrate cancer.

I don’t doubt that a great deal of research in both cancers, both prostrate and breast cancer will still need to be done in the future. A cure for cancer cannot come too soon as it is probably the worst torments that humankind has to face. The fact that you cannot inoculate against it or avoid it completely makes it an awful adversary.

Sure, you can eat healthy, exercise and live right, but that doesn’t mean you won’t acquire cancer. Many other headline conditions are preventable, including HIV, s it is unfair to mention them in the same company as cancer. You don’t have to put yourself at risk and get it, it’s avoidable. Research is now available for all to see on cancer or almost any subject.

This is one way to keep on top of breast and prostate cancer research because you can see what is currently going on with treatments and breakthroughs. Research is the key and given time, funds and persistence all this investigation and analysis will provide the world with a cure.
